Julia Rose Ramirez, Veteran Student Fall 2015
The ACC welding and pipe fitting instructors were phenomenal. They were very informative and instrumental to the understanding and complete comprehensive nature of the art of welding. Their years of experience allows the ability to assist anyone because it's one thing to read a book about welding but it's a completely different experience in the shop. The instructors help build confidence in their students and encourage them to do better. My overall experience in the Veterans program was great. Every time I needed help I received it, and whatever I didn't understand an instructor broke it down until I grasped the concept.
ATTENTION: Texas Community Colleges
Texas Fast Start 2 Program Curricula - This Curricula contains accelerated pipe fitter training programs based on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) models and courses. Galveston and Alvin Community Colleges have developed separate accelerated certifications that are modeled for the needs of employers in their respective communities.
