Pathways Advising
Welcome to Pathways Advising.
Once students have completed all admissions steps, Pathways Advisors are available to assist in navigating the final steps to enrollment.
All new students who have never attended college must meet with a Pathways Advisor to discuss their certificate or degree plan, test results, course selection, and any other academic advising questions. Returning ACC and transfer students are encouraged but not required to meet with a Pathways Advisor.
Advising through ConexED
Pathways Advisors are assigned to specific Pathways. When scheduling an appointment through ConexED be sure to select the correct advisor for your degree plan. ACC offers advising appointments in-person and virtually. Students can also meet with advisors without an appointment as a walk-in at the Welcome Center. Keep in mind, walk-ins are limited and you are not guaranteed to see your specific advisor. For more in-depth help, scheduling an appointment is recommended.
To schedule your advising appointment, select the advisor that is associated with your pathways and click "Schedule Meeting". Log into ConexEd using your ACC student email and select the date you would like to meet. Use the "Show More" button to view additional time slots. Please include your Student ID number, the reason for your appointment, and any additional information, then click "Schedule Appointment".
- Students must complete all enrollment steps prior to scheduling an advising appointment.
- Appointment will be canceled if all steps are not complete or if the appointment is scheduled

- If you do not have holds, self-registration is available through Student Planning. View the Registration Help guide here.
- Safety is important—please plan to attend your meeting from a safe, distraction-free location. Do not join while driving.
For general advising questions, students can use the Express Online Advising Live Chat for assistance. Chats will be limited to 15 minutes. If you need further assistance after the chat, please reach out to your assigned advisor via email.

General Studies Students Mandatory Advising Program (M.A.P)
M.A.P. is a mandatory advising program for General Studies majors who have completed 30 credit hours. Advising sessions will cover Career Information, Degree Completion Planning, and Transfer Information.
Students who have completed 30 credit hours of their General Studies Degree Plan will have a hold placed on their account, and will need to see an advisor for a M.A.P. advising session to have the hold released.
The M.A.P. training can be viewed below:
If you have any questions about the M.A.P. training, please email: advising@alvincollege.edu
