Congratulations! Welcome to Alvin Community College! Your experience at ACC begins with New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation is designed to prepare you for your first semester at ACC and is your first step in successfully transitioning into college. All new students are required to attend one orientation session.

Dolphin Dive is a program where you will finalize your enrollment at ACC. During the program, you will learn more about ACC and campus resources. You will have the opportunity to speak to an academic advisor during a group advising session and register for classes.

Attention: Participating students must have completed all of the steps to admission prior to registering for orientation.

The Dolphin Experience

Dolphin Experience is an interactive event designed to help you become more comfortable with your transition to ACC and to provide you with more campus resources to ensure your first semester is successful. During this program, you will learn how to be a successful Dolphin, interact with faculty and staff from your intended major, engage in several fun activities, connect with other new students, and more! This event is parent and family-friendly!
