Congratulations! Welcome to Alvin Community College (ACC)! Your experience at ACC begins with New Student Orientation (NSO). New Student Orientation is designed to prepare you for your first semester at ACC and is your first step in successfully transitioning into college. All new students are required to complete New Student Orientation.

Online Orientation

To complete New Student Orientation online, you must fully set up your Alvin College email and password through the POD.

Your ACCess ID and Alvin College email address will be in your welcome email after you apply to the college. You will receive a separate email with your password and further instructions. 

  1. Set up your Alvin College Pod account. You can call the Technology Help Desk for assistance at 281.756.3544.
  2. Complete New Student Orientation training here. 
  3. The NSO hold will be removed the following business day. If you would like the hold removed sooner, please send a copy of your completion certificate to: welcome@alvincollege.edu.
