ACC Regents Take Oath of Office
Two new regents took the oath of office for the Alvin Community College Board of Regents during a meeting on May 17. Michael Hoover and Yvette Reyes-Hall joined incumbent Dr. Patty Hertenberger during the ceremony.
ACC Celebrates Commencement
Alvin Community College celebrated its annual Commencement Ceremony on May 13 at Freedom Field in Iowa Colony. More than 400 graduates crossed the stage with their degree or certificate during the ceremony. The graduates included those who finished their programs in the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022.
ACC Regents Election Outcome
Michael Hoover beat opponent David Pickren for the Position 9 seat on the Alvin Community College Board of Regents election on May 7, according to unofficial results.
ACC Approves Risk Fund Changes
The Alvin Community College Board of Regents approved changes to its agreement with the Texas Association of School Boards Risk Management Fund during a board meeting on April 28.
