When and where will the 1098-T be mailed?
Forms will be mailed on or before January 31, 2026 to the student's address on record.
If you signed up by January 1, 2026 to consent for electronic delivery, you will receive
an email notification once the 1098-T form is available.
What if my social security number is wrong on my 1098-T?
You will need to update your social security information with the Business Office
using the W-9S. This form will be used to update the 1098-T. However to update the
information in your student account, contact Admissions at 281-756-3531.
I did not receive a Form 1098‐T. Should I expect one?
Some reasons a 1098-T may not be generated include:
- ACC is not required to produce Form 1098‐T for students enrolled in courses for which no academic credit is offered.
- You do not have a current active or valid address on file.
- Third-party payments received are greater than eligible fees.
Do I need to do anything before my 1098-T is processed?
Yes. The student should verify that their name, address and social security number
are correct in WebACCess.
Do I need to file this 1098‐T form on my income taxes?
Please consult your tax preparer. The Business Office will not provide tax filing
information to students as we are not certified tax preparers.
